The Penguin: How to watch episode seven of the HBO Max series

The last thing seen during episode 6 of The Penguin is Victor Aguilar and Francis Cobb dancing to celebrate the power coming on in their apartment. Distracted by their excitement, they didn't see Sofia Gigante (Formerly Sofia Falcone) watching them. That means, after weeks of searching, Sofia finally has something Oz Cobb loves. She’s going to use Victor and Francis to get revenge for helping her father (Carmine Falcone) send her to Arkham and for killing her brother, Alberto Falcone (episode 1 of The Penguin).

The preview of episode 7 of The Penguin showed a couple of things you need to know. First, when Sal Maroni caught Oz Cobb at home, he naked Oz where his operation was. Oz says he won’t tell him anything until he knows his mother’s okay. Next, Sal asks if Oz is negotiating. I don’t think those two moments happen directly after the other.

Oz is known for being underhanded. There’s no way he’d tell Sal where his operation is without some insurance and his mother and Vic aren’t enough. He likely offered Sal a percentage of what he makes. Or, and this idea shouldn’t shock anyone, Oz could offer the bosses of the crime families he united at the end of episode 6. 

All of the crime bosses Oz spoke to know he’ll do anything to save himself. However, they decided to join him in his fight to take down Sal Maroni and Sofia Gigante. Now that he’s captured, Oz will happily set his new partners up to save himself.

Second, is Sofia talking to Julian Rush she needs his help making Oz feel pain. So far we haven’t seen Julian abuse anyone. Why would she go to him? This leads this writer to think we’re getting closer to the reveal that Julian Rush is or will become Victor Zsasz. Don’t be shocked when we see Julian use a knife to get information from someone or if we see some of his self-inflicted scars.
