The Penguin has progressed perfectly. Each episode shows something important and develops the characters in different ways. Everyone will look back at episode 4 as the best of the season when we see the back story of Sofia Falcone (who’s now going using her mother’s last name, Gigante). And with good reason. Everything from the acting to the story was perfect.

“To taking back Gotham!” -Oz Cobb

With The Penguin winding down, fans may have been waiting for Oz Cobb’s big moment. It finally came at the end of episode 6 as Oz does the impossible. He united the crime families of Gotham City against Sofia Gigante and Sal Maroni.

Towards the end of episode 6, Oz Cobb brings the major crime families of Gotham together. He tells them that he knows they all hate each other and that won’t change. He then goes on to tell the truth about their current situation. Sal and Sofia don’t care about them. They may have once, but now their goal is revenge.

During the meeting, Feng Zhao mentions that Oz is a snake and only cares about himself. Zhao isn’t wrong and Oz doesn’t outwardly deny that. Nevertheless, the families decide that working with your enemies is better than being scared of Sofia and Sal. Which is good considering what happens at the end of the episode.

"You deserve your shot." Eve Karlo

While looking through Oz’s apartment, Sofia finds a picture of Eve Karlo with a loving message from Eve written on it. This leads Sofia to find her and get information on where Oz could be. At first, Eve doesn’t say anything. She loves Oz and doesn't want to give him up. After Sofia tells her the truth about him and how he’s partly responsible for her time in Arkham, things change. Eve gives Sofia a clue on where to find Oz and asks where Sofia got the information between them.

Whether or not it's because Eve loses love for Oz after learning who he is, to protect her girls, or both we don't know why she she gave Oz up. No matter the reason, it was enough for Sofia to locate his hideout. At the end of the episode, Victor Aguilar and Francis Cobb dance in celebration of their power being turned on. Unbeknownst to them, Sofia is in there watching them.

The preview for the next episode shows that Francis and Victor have been taken and are being held by Sal and Sofia. The only way to get them back is for Oz to give up the location of his operation. Stay tuned to Caped Crusades to see if Oz gives them what they want and if Victor and Francis are safe.
