The Penguin: How to watch episode two of the HBO Max series

The series premiere The Penguin began with a death before the title appeared. It won’t be the last of the season and you won’t want to miss who’s next. Here's how to stream the show, when it'll be released, and what you can expect in episode 2.

Previously, on The Penguin, Oz Cobblepot (Penguin) killed Alberto Falcone and assumed he got away with it. Unfortunately, he didn’t anticipate Alberto’s sister, Sofia Falcone, was with him that night. She knew the Iceberg Lounge was the last place her brother went and Oz was there. It didn’t help that Oz used her brother’s plan to save his job. That was everything Sofia needed to know. She has her men kidnap Oz and force him to admit he killed her brother. Thankfully, Oz was steps ahead.

Earlier in the episode, Oz went to prison and gave Salvatore Maroni his ring back knowing the Falcones would hear about it. So, when Alberto’s dead body came crashing into the Falcone’s home with his pinky cut off, it looked like Salvatore murdered him and sent the Falcone Family a message. Oz was off the hook…for now.

The series premiere of The Penguin gets a 10-out-of-10 from this writer. It perfectly gave viewers the story that will be told, explained the characters and their personalities, and ended with enough drama to keep fans wanting more.

Oz plans on becoming the king of crime in Gotham City. He’s talked about being small and understanding the game. After Johnny Vitti threatened to take his enterprise away, Oz knew that playing to weak men wouldn’t cut it. Episode 2 begins Oz’s journey of going after what he wants and feels he deserves.
