Chip Zdarskey started his run of Batman comic books, Bruce Wayne fought a robot he built  (Failsafe) in case he became a murderer. After defeating it, Batman ends up in another reality and later falls victim to the ruthless personality he created, Zur-En-Arrh (Batman No. 131-135). And then there's Batman: Gotham War which almost ruined all of Batman's relationships. Thankfully, the hard part ends with Bruce becoming a billionaire again and starting a new chapter in his life.

Of course, things aren’t easy for Batman. Amanda Waller’s reign of terror has caused him to fight back against her Task Force VII alongside powerless heroes (DC Comics: Absolute Power). Once that’s over, things will go back to whatever normal looks like for the Dark Knight. According to an image from artist Jorge Jiménez and a report from CBR, that includes a new villain named Commander Star.

Batman No. 153 starts with something no one saw coming. The Riddler may be going legit. That may lead Riddler to help Bruce Wayne (who knows he’s Batman) with his initiatives to make Gotham a better city. If anyone can solve the puzzle of Gotham City it's the combined might of Riddler and the Dark Knight.

Preventing this from happening are two villains. First, there's The Court of Owls. They've been in and out of Batman's life for the last decade and it looks like they're making a comeback. They have their vision of Gotham City and Bruce has already prevented that from happening.

Second is the aforementioned, Commander Star. By the look of his costume, he probably believes America isn't what it should be and is willing to go above and beyond to change that. According to Screen Rant, Gotham is turning against Wayne Enterprises’ public initiatives and Commander Star is the cause.

It wouldn't be shocking if Commander Star believes in Amanda Waller. There’s no way there aren’t people who believe superpowered people are a threat. Commander Star could be one and the first of many.

Whatever Commander Star's deal and identity are, and The Court of Owl's plan is, Caped Crusades report it.
