Justice League Mock Draft

With the highly talked about NFL draft coming up at the end of this month, I thought a Justice League mock draft is in order. So with the first overall pick in the draft the Los Angeles Rams select…..

  1. The Los Angles Rams select quarterback Clark Kent/Superman. The Rams finally get the franchise quarterback they have been searching for. Kent has some of the best speed in the draft as well as the strongest arm. He will make the Rams contenders instantly and will be the leader of this team.

2.The Cleveland Browns select running back Barry Allen/The Flash. Barry has break away speed and a unique ability to shake through tackles. He will bring excitement to a team that has little else to be excited about.

3. The San Diego Chargers select wide receiver Firestorm. Firestorm gives Phillip Rivers a go to down the field target. He boast a unique ability to fly past defenders and make explosive plays down the field.

4. The Dallas Cowboys select linebacker Martian Manhunter/J’onn J’onz. J’onn has all the tools needed to make an instant impact on the Cowboys defense. J’onn has solid speed and an ability to make consistent tackles. What really makes him a steal though is his ability to phase through defensive lines and get to the quarterback.  He should rack up the sacks at this level and may be the best defender in the draft.

5. The Jacksonville Jaguars select defensive end  Billy Batson/Shazam. While there were some size concerns at first he seemed to gain the required size quickly and showed the ability to force fumbles and make any tackle. As long as he can keep his weight up he should have an instant impact on this defense.

6. The Baltimore Ravens select wide receiver Hal Jordan/Green Lantern. Hal’s ability to go over the top of defenders will take some of the pressure off of Steve Smith in his final season. The Ravens have many holes to fill but this pick should make their offense instantly one of the best in the league.

7. The San Francisco 49ers select safety Ray Palmer/Atom. Ray has the ability to match up to any wide receiver or tight end no matter the size or or agility. He has quick reflexes and a great ability to intercept almost any pass thrown his way.

8.The Philadelphia Eagles select running back Red Tornado/John Smith. John will give the Eagles the running back they were hoping to acquire last season with Murray. He has a spin move that will help him get past any defenders helps break big plays down the field. He also has plus speed and a great stiff arm.

9.The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select linebacker Carter Hall/Hawkman. Carter has the ability to blitz the quarterback or the speed to fly down the field to cover any receiver. The Buc’s will gain not only a solid defender but a leader for their young team.

10. The New York Giants select wide receiver Dr. Fate/Kent Nelson. Nelson is not the fastest receiver in this draft but he will be one of the most consistent. Taking some immediate pressure of Odell Beckham Jr. he mesmerizes any defender that attempts to cover him leaving them as if they were in a trance.

11. The Chicago Bears select defensive tackle Victor Stone/Cyborg. Stone is the strongest defensive lineman in this draft. Offering a great bull rush and a consistent ability to get to the quarterback. The Bears still have plenty of holes but Stone will instantly make them a better team.

12. The New Orleans Saints select tight end Ted Cord/Blue Beetle. Cord has good hands and an abilities that few tight ends posses. He will replace Watson and give Drew Brees a play maker he has not had since Jimmy Graham went to Seattle.

13. The Miami Dolphins select quarterback Arthur Curry/Aquaman. Obviously with limited faith left in Ryan Tannehill the Dolphins went after some insurance in the draft. Curry should fit in well with the Dolphins and it would not surprise me a bit if he is leading all his Dolphin team mates to a successful season.

14. The Oakland Raiders select running back Bruce Wayne/Batman. While there are rumors that Wayne is not the best of teammates. He refuses to go down on contact and will fight through any tackle. He instantly makes this team a contender and is one of the most underrated prospects in the draft.

15. The Tennessee Titans select wide receiver Ralph Dibney. Dibney is the piece that the Titans needed to put them over the top. Dibney has an unbelievable ability to make fantastic catches often stretching for balls that you are sure are beyond his reach.

16.The Detroit Lions select quarterback Oliver Queen/Arrow. With Stafford’s up and down season I think the Lions are beginning to worry about the longevity of his career. Queen is one of the most accurate passers we have seen in any draft in years. He will  become a leader on this team and one of the best in the NFL.

17. The Atlanta Falcons select cornerback Paco Ramone/Vibe. Ramone’s coverage is not the best in the world, however he is a defensive leader that can coach any defense perfectly. It is almost as if he knows exactly what is coming next.

18. The Indianapolis Colts select running back Scott Free/Mr. Miracle. Free is not a consistent running back but he has the ability to pull off miraculous plays we have never seen before. It is for that reason he will take some pressure off of Luck and allow the Colts to be dedicated to both the running and passing game.

19. The Buffalo Bills select quarterback Nightwing/Dick Grayson. Grayson is a team player and has the ability to contribute on both sides of the ball. But he is dedicated to sticking to quarterback and will provide the Bills with a play maker.

20. The New York Jets select running back Wally West.  West has shown flashes of speed that give him the ability to separate from the defense breaking big plays down field. If he can find a way to do that consistently he may become the steal of the draft.

21. The Washington Redskins select linebacker Orion. Little is known about his origins there is almost something a  bit dark about him. But with that said he is the strongest linebacker in this draft and has abilities that most linebackers can only dream of.

22. The Houston Texans select quarterback Roy Harper/Arsenal. Harper is a young quarterback with good accuracy and will provide some insurance behind Brock Osweiller. He has often been compared to a Oliver Queen although he may be a bit behind in his development.

23. The Minnesota Vikings select cornerback Guy Gardener/Green Lantern.  Gardener has a unique ability to knock down seemingly any pass. He is a good prospect that will help the re-building vikings

24. The Cincinnati Bengals select linebacker Lex Luthor. Though Luthor has completed rehab there are still doubts about whether or not he is alright. Regardless he is worth taking a chance on. He is a mastermind that can manipulate almost any offense and will take some pressure off of Andy Dalton and the offense.

25. The Pittsburgh Steelers select defensive tackle John Irons/Steel. Irons does one thing and that is bust through any line. He will not only bring back the Steel curtain but make the Steelers defensive unit that is one of the most feared in the league.

26. The Seattle Seahawks select running back Diana Prince/Wonderwoman. Pete Carroll has long been known for his unique team and coaching style.  Diana becomes the first woman to ever be drafted into the NFL. She will make many teams regret passing on her. She has the ability to fly past all defenders and can deflect any hits that she takes.

27. The Green Bay Packers select wide receiver Shayera Hol/Hawkgirl. Cobb could not get it going last season and Nelson was injured leaving Rodgers with no targets to throw to. Shayera will provide Rodgers with a reliable down the field threat. She also boasts the ability to go up and get most any pass.

28. The Kansas City Chiefs select offensive lineman William Tockman/Clock King.  Clock mismanagement is what killed the Chiefs season. Tockman will provide a solid blocker on the offensive line as well as a leader who will help the Chiefs control the clock.

29. The Arizona Cardinals select safety John Stewart/Green Lantern. Stewart slipped in the draft based on the availability of talent just like him. But don’t let that fool you Stewart is a very capable defender who will have no problem challenging any offense.

30. The Carolina Panthers select wide receiver Michael Carter/Booster Gold. Gold has reportedly often had issues with team mates over the cockiness he often displays.  Often bragging about his abilities rubs opponents the wrong way. This obviously does not bother the Panthers as they draft him looking for a reliable target for Cam Newton.

31. The Denver Broncos select safety Zatanna. Though there are some concerns about her size her ability to freeze the offense in their tracks makes her unique and worth the risk. Opponents better look out this season the Broncos defense just got better.
