WB Unveils 25th Anniversary Blu Ray of ‘Batman’!

25 years ago, Tim Burton’s Batman was a game changer. It shook off the memory of Batman 66 and set the stage for superhero films to be taken seriously. It’s why we’re where we are today. Hard to believe it’s been a quarter century since Batman hit the silver screen, but this being the 75th anniversary of the Caped Crusader, there’s no better time to celebrate the film’s place in the legacy.

WB announced the 25th anniversary special edition Blu Ray today and here’s a first look!

With its state-of-the-art sophisticated and durable design, the new packaging is perfect for those wishing to add this edition to their home libraries. Also included is Batman: The Birth of the Modern Blockbuster — a look at the phenomenal marketing, extensive merchandising and franchise foresight that set the template for the next 25 years of tentpole pictures.WBHE and DCE’s year-long celebration, befitting the world’s most popular Super Hero, will boast new products from WBE and DC Entertainment in numerous areas – comics, TV, Interactive Entertainment, Consumer Products and more.
