Beware the Batman on Batman Trivia of the Day

Welcome back to another Batman Trivia of the Day! Yesterday I asked for the names of the creators of Batman the Brave and the Bold and The Batman. The Batman was created by Michael Goguen and Duane Capizzi, while Brave and the Bold was developed by James Tucker and Michael Jelenic.

I liked The Batman well enough, and I haven’t seen much of Batman the Brave and the Bold, mostly because I’m not a fan of his voice actor. I gotta say though, I love the episode where Batman sustains a head injury while undercover as Matches Malone and thought he really was the criminal Malone. The best part of the episode of course being the Birds of Prey (Catwoman, Huntress, and Black Canary) singing ‘No one does it better than the Birds of Prey’ in a room of criminals trying to jog Batman’s memory.

Today’s questions will be about Beware the Batman. I’m not a big fan of the show myself but it does fit into my ongoing theme of animated Batman TV shows for Batman Trivia of the Day here on Caped Crusades. First question, who created Beware the Batman? Who voices Batman/Bruce Wayne? And who voices Alfred Pennyworth on Beware the Batman?

Here is a video of the Birds of Prey singing in Batman the Brave and the Bold, I wish they sold this song as a single on itunes, I would so buy it!

Glenn Murakami created the show, Anthony Ruivivar played Bruce Wayne/The Batman, JB Blanc played Alfred.

It had some other fantastic voice actors too, including Grey DeLisle as Magpie, Wallace Langham as Anarky, Brian George as Professor Pyg and Udo Kier as Mr. Toad. Oh, and a great theme song by The Dum Dum Girls…

It was a pretty fun show with a lot of potential, shame it got cut down before it really got a chance.
