LexCorp Sounds a lot Like ‘Social Network’
By Skip Harvey
If you haven’t seen David Fincher’s Social Network, you should. Its a dark, cold look at corporate celebrity and ‘genius’. That is undoubtedly the impetus behind the casting of Jesse Eisenberg to play Lex Luthor in Batman V Superman. According to Batman-News, it’s a direct connection.
"In Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, LexCorp is described as a young, edgy company. Think of it as a .com or Google type workplace. It’s a smart company with a stylish vibe, a youthful clash of rock and roll, preppy, and nerdy employees. Hipsters! Will “Mr. LexCorp” Lex Luthor (played by Jesse Eisenberg) be in the scene? I’m hearing ‘yes’, but I’ll have an update on exactly what goes down from my source next week. If a bald Jesse Eisenberg is spotted on set, you’ll be the first to know."

It’s another example of literal casting that Snyder has become known for. Jury’s still out on whether that translates well, or feels superficial. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
