Just in case you don’t know, the Red Hood is Jason Todd’s alter-ego after he is brought back to life By Ra’s al ghul. Though in truth Jason Todd is the second Red Hood. The first Red Hood was a man named Jack, later to be known as the Joker. Oddly enough the Joker is the one who killed the second Robin in the first place. Ra’s al ghul used the lazarus pit to bring young Todd back to life, unfortunately the boy came back wrong. Jason Todd was traumatized by his experiences with Joker and then the pit, and he became angry and violent. Well, angrier and more violent. This costume is a truly awesome rendering of Todd’s Red Hood helmet, and as soon as I have $150.00 to spare I’m getting one!
